I had the very same problem!  I clicked and dragged to form a circle, and the big purple thing appears, but it doesn't seem to protect anything or drain mana, so I think that's wrong about siren: set up an army camp next to the wandering villagers (who will all be male since they were soldiers)...

on the island with the monk who has to break the rock using his chi... how do you do that?  I've tried using the force hand or whatever to push the rock at the same time he does, so if that's your answer could you be more in depth?
