Right now we don't know much. :upside
The has been speculation of mapping and/or scripting tools being made available some time in the near (??) future. But there's been no mention of creature tools or what not.
They are suppose to be releasing a "Surprise" of some sorts whenever they get it finalised. So until that is released we can only speculate on what it will be.

we have the mod tools now..^ ^ I dunno if they have creature ones though... ???

i have got one but it is only a size modifire
put on later as i am loggeed in at school if anyones interested
you can always find out about the spoiler when you get the 'mod' but the impatient of you read it
hear is another spoiler on the down side
and to the question of the modding tools you could edit enything you want trough the script editor this is how i did the creature size mod

it enhances you creture strength and general abilaties
it makes it so youre creature cant go through some small spaces it is not as efective at killing it makes the textures look chuncky
