help! it wont let me install

help my bw2 wont work . just recently i had my laptop erased and before it worked and it doesnt .
every time i try its says  Error Code: -5003 : 0x8004ace4

D9E52CD1-9DF1-4A8A-9BDC-1E5E53982F2B is the uninstall string for BW2. Did you try to do a restore of your system?

Go into the registry and delete it.

Start >> Run >> type in "regedit" (without the quotes) >> Ctrl+F for find and input that string.

I found more than one occurrence of  it. I think what you need to delete is the one under "Uninstall", it will have Black & White 2 shown in the right hand window.

Before making any changes in the registery, back it up first. Right click on "My Computer" on the top and choose "Export"

Are you trying to install it or run it?
If you're trying to run it and that's not in the registry then re-install the game.
