Well i bought a new laptop a few months ago and wondered if Ifinally owned  pc with pixel shader1.1 or whatever, turns out it runs so I'm finally started playing.

Is there anything i should do before i get too far into it?  ive patched it to 1.2 already

and is there a creture changer so i can have a bear?

thaaaaaanks  :D

BW2 doesn't have a Bear. But there is a Turtle.  If you look around in the downloads section, you can probably find what you're looking for. There's a lot of interesting mods and maps.

Gorilla: http://www.bwfiles.com/files/file.php?id=977
Turtle: http://www.bwfiles.com/files/file.php?id=972
And the Tiger, if you don't already have it as a choice in game: http://www.bwfiles.com/files/file.php?id=976

I don't think anyone has been able to get the Tiger to work... I could be wrong, though.

The tiger unlocker, which adds a tiger to the game rather than replacing another creature, only works on 32 bit systems; you don't see so many of those nowadays. This isn't to do with the mod itself, but the nature of the script which adds the tiger. Then there's the mod which was linked to, which replaces game files and swaps the cow for the tiger. This is generally a sure-fire way to add the tiger to the game. Then there's Gremxula's tiger game save.

Gremxula's save game works just fine. That's what I use. You can just change the name of the profile if it bothers you.

I don't actually know too much about modding B&W 2.
The game (for me, anyway) already had the Tiger in it.  After the cut-scene the Tiger walks from the back and is a choice.

But only on  really old PC's.
The save I made was for my use originally.
When I realised that I couldn't have a tiger on a 64 bit PC and did this for  myself and  others. :D

Grem, I believe the Macintosh Edition has the Tiger.  But by all means, correct me if I'm wrong...
