A creature changer has finally been released and you can even play as the gorilla, also a scar remover has been released too.  You can find more info on this here http://allboards.lionhead.com/showthread.php?t=108285

wish I could read the readme though  :rolleyes
EDIT- doesnt work. I just changed my lion to an ape with it, I went in the game and my creature was still a lion.
 
There is an english readme in the file and it does work if you do it right. Make sure BW2 is off when running the EXE though as I think it affects wether or not it works.
 
yes, you ahve to read the readme in order to use the tool properly. -> you have to restart the level to apply the changes.
would be nice if some people post their experiences with that tool here! ;)

P.s: Maybe some people will get trouble when tweaking there files (a error message will pop up). please wait 1 or 2 days. the new built is being released soon. ^^

Awesome!

I hate going through the whole intro with each new Creature, now by backing up a save on the first land where you actually do stuff(Land3), I can start with any creature I want.

Works great, just be sure to read the readme...always good advice.

sounds good!  :D yes... reading the readme is *really* very important. but if you read it, it will be very easy to work with the tool =)

Finally got a chance to use it and had no problems. :)

I do have a couple of questions.

Will it work also if you go up in lands rather than restarting?

Also I was looking in the Profile.ini files in the saved games and saw referance to a .erc file. In the old game this was the creaturemind file. Can you tell me where it's located and how it's used?
