while reading over at http://www.bwfiles.com/boards/index.php?topic=2261.0 i noticed a couple things.
1. he mentions that there is no way to get free mana like for the wonders.
actually if you open the file GameBalanceMiracle.txt you go to the praying section
the siren wonder for example but works for the others too
SIREN_WONDER 100000 100000 100000 0 0 0 0.7 0.3 0.2 0.1 1 0.5 0
you will see a series of numbers the 7th number is the one we are working on here.
change it to some ungodly high number say for example 70000 and you only need to drop 1 worshiper in place and in 1 second or less it is charged.
for the altar the first 3 numbers are the max mana at full charge
as with all files you modify you need to back up the original especially if you are on windows version since installing is not as simple as it is on the mac.

Pick_Up_Tree -0.00002 = Pick_Up_Tree 0.00002 This will change picking up a tree to being good instead of evil.
Pick_Up_Tree -0.00002 = Pick_Up_Tree 0.00008 This will make picking up the tree more evil.

the falloff is loss of effect for each subsequent action.
for example build 1 temple and you get 1300 impressiveness give or take for location.
each extra temple you will get 900 something then 700 and so on to a certain extent.
