skin utility

im having a problem with the skin utility for bw1, after i drag an drop the l3d file i get the TGA, but it says that the TGA file is not a valid bitmap image or my computer dose not support that file type, a little  :help  please

What program are you attempting to open it with? as only Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro will work.

  its automatically opened as a paint file.

Check to see if GIMP supports .tga files. It's free, Google it.
