Land 2 Question

As the topic states its been a long while since I played Black and White. Its I think the one game I own that I have never beaten. I am currently back on Land 2, The Greedy Farmer Silver Scroll, on Land 2 has me stumped. Now I remember giving the children food a long time ago...but I don't remember what kind of food it was or where exactly I put it to get them to notice it. I threw it down right in front of them. Threw it on their house in their house, on them anything and everything I can think of. Anyone have any tips or help they can offer I would much appreciate it. Don't tell me to kill one or the other or hurt one or the other  :angel. I want to try to do this the right way. Anyway, thanks in advance.  :help

As I recall, there appears to be no way to win that particular challenge without killing someone.  It hink it was a bug in the game that the good solution never makes itself available.
