installing problem

i got bw2 this evening and it wont install  the loading box at the bottom of the screen blanks out after directx9c, and my specs are good enough to run it......  :cry i need help :cry

Do you already have Directx 9.0c installed on your machine? If not, you may want to consider installing directx 9.0c separately by downloading it so the BnW setup doesn't have to.

i installed it from the the CD seperatly after i tried installing the game, dunno if that is the same, i tried installing the game a few more times and it got to  setup.inx  then the box blanks out and nothing else happens. seemed too good to be true to actually get bw2, let alone get it working

Well if we're going to attempt to help, we'll need more information.

-System specs
-Exactly when the install is dying with as many specifics as possible. I'm still confused if things are going bad during the directx part or the regular game
