How to make your creature ignore your own villages?

So, I'm currently raising an evil creature (a lion for those interested). My tactic of winning always seems to be to build up the population in one town and build so much that my influence covers the whole island (done it once before, it was really cool) then just use evil miracles to kill and destroy all. Now, my creature can easily impress a village and can cause destruction in my enemies villages, what I want to know is there any way I can get him to completely ignore my own village? Doesn't even acknowledge it, and continues to go  out and look after himself.

Any ideas would be great, thank you :)

I have done a few evil creatures in the past and the basic method is the same for SP or MP games.

First you need.
A new creature.....Why.... It is almost impossible to bury  the traits he has learned so far that he effectively forgets them.
A Special Training Map......Peckys  Evil Map  is ideal  as  you have influence over the entire map.
A Growth map or creature editor......NOT the version of Kong in the downloads but the newer v1.4 . http://egeriondomain.blogspot.co.uk/2011/01/kong-v14.html

The method is quite simple. While your creature is around your village you totally ignore the village. If your creature reacts to your village or villagers slap him
30-40%.  Only tend to the villagers needs while he is asleep or a long way away.  Your creature learns partly from simply seeing you do stuff.
Act towards the other villages as you wish him to act rewarding correct actions again 30-40%

DO NOT go overboard with teaching lots of miracles  Heal and water are essential, about 3 others seem to be optimal.
Fishing is also a very useful skill as your creature can feed himself on most maps.

Just a final thought  on creature size strength and fatness all should be as high as you can get them.  The way the game works is a bit odd here size and strength work as you would expect but fatness is the reserve of power he has for casting  miracles fighting etc..
So think fat not fit  :D

Thank you! Although I'd prefer to not use a growth map (I enjoy watching my creature grow!)  :laugh2

Another question, what is your method of winning as evil? So far, after 10 years of playing this game, I have never found a really clever way of playing evil (apart from this one) was just interested how you play evil on SP/MP?

Never found a way to play evil for long enough to complete a play through. Even when I set out to be evil I just drift back to good, I think it is easier that way.

In MP games evil can be the best way to go , great fun too.  Dependant on the "win conditions" having your (full sized and well trained) creature race across the land  and rip your opponents village to shreds while they were just about ready to build their first house. :laugh2

If you get into specialised creature and player roles you will soon find the need  for several profiles.......
Good Neutral or Evil God.
Good Neutral or Evil Creature

Main Game MP or CI
That's 27 basic variations that's why I said about  the  growth map or editor.

I used the extreme growth and honestly enjoy having a huge creature now  :laugh2

My experience of playing evil, I always believed:
1) that an evil creature must be "offensive", rather than a good creature (which I call defensive) meaning your creature should always be wandering around (preferably outside your influence) being generally evil.
2) An evil creature can "impress" a neutral town, doesn't have to be constantly evil, since impressing, is neutral for me, I never see a change in alignment.
3) Always be evil and destructive to an enemy.

I find evil more rewarding. But people tend to be constantly destructive to themselves. The key to being evil, I believe, is occasionally set fire to a house (you can generate a lot of belief in your own village this way, like rediciously quick) and make sure you have a gigantic population. Expand your influence over the whole island, with only one or two towns and then destroy everything. This is a really enjoyable way of playing.

Glad you enjoyed the results from the map. :)

Yes I can see your method working, I just don't have the patience to play that way any more. I tend to just steam through the lands ASAP maybe too much MP.

This is my general method and is adapted to specific lands or maps.

With weak or no creature.
Establish your base village build the minimum needed for self maintenance.
Once you have an established village supply wood to the workshop and create  a 5 scaffold TC.
Reach out of your influence ring and place it as near as you can to the next village.
Repeat but this time reach out from the TC you placed.
Once you are in range take the village as you see fit.
Build the village to maximum population by taking villagers from the first  village.
Repeat.... :)

With a Strong powerful creature
Good.... maybe you need to move some villagers.
Evil........maybe missionary's then more villagers
Repeat .... :)

Play through times  are about 10h on average for me . But it is possible to complete the game  in 4h 35m .
