How i can make a map?!

Hi, im soo desperate in how i make a map i am trying for 3 years to make a simple map and it dosent work... i watched Mina's tutorial about making a map without photoshop but the programs i used they dont work .. so im asking how to create a simple map. :help
 
I am guessing you mean a .lnd (seeing that's what Minas's tutorial is about :p )? 
If you have a photo editor that can paint, you're good....
If you don't, I think that there is something called "GIMP" that can paint.
I used/use Photoshop 4.0 to do his tutorial......
Now, if it's Lndromat or B&WSurveyor that's not working then I can't be of much help....
I could get a .lnd out of Lndromat, but (at least at the moment) I am trying to get B&WSurveyor to work....
So, if you could explain your problem l or anyone else might be able to help!  :)
 
i mean i cant make a .lnd file cuz i dont know how to use lndromat and surveyor

Hmmm...I can't help you there, because I failed with that...Just why aren't you using Photoshop?
 
Hey Maestru, I know how to use Photoshop...  What do you have trouble with?
