That's really weird indeed. When I quicksave during throwing things into the vortex, everything still goes through. Are you sure none of the stuff is falling down the giant mountain your temple is set on in Land 2?

It's normal when you run in windowed mode. If you run it in fullscreen the images show up normally. Either way the manual saves function just fine even if the thumbnail is bright pink.

Have you been using the Save Game Room (F7) or simply relying on the autosave?

Seems to crash the game when trying to apply the changes. The AI symbol changer seems to work, as when the game crashes I can see the different symbols having been applied.
